An opening for a socially-driven Account Manager has become available to work on Influencer campaigns at one of SA’s leading Word of Mouth Marketing agencies based in Joburg. We’re looking for someone who is well connected and has experience identifying influencers for different clients and products. The ideal candidate is excited by the prospect of successfully implementing and managing projects from conception through to execution. In this role you will be exposed to a multitude of differing and stimulating methodologies as well as projects which take place in the Digital and Social space. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the conceptualisation & definition of Influencer / WOM project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
  • Management of projects from planning to execution, responsible for the successful implementation of projects which are assigned to you
  • Identification and management of project dependencies
  • Planning of project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
  • Development and delivery of client status reports & proposals
  • Determine the frequency and content of Campaign Project KPIs & Metrics, the analysation of results and troubleshooting problem areas
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation to monitor and track the progress of Campaigns
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devise contingency plans
  • Liaising with project stakeholders (internal and external) on an on-going basis
  • Development and maintenance of Campaign CE’s ensuring that Projects are run within budget & clearly defined margins
  • Mitigating risk with regards to campaign deliverables & budgets
  • Build, develop and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project (influencers / suppliers / client)

 

Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:

  • Relevant Degree
  • 3-5 years’ experience in TLL or BTL project management within the Marketing Industry, (added benefit of experience in Influencer or Word of Mouth activities)
  • Able to provide a list of influencers you’ve worked with in the past
  • Well connected
  • Confident & assertive attitude
  • New and forward-thinking ideas, constantly researching industry trends & blue ocean opportunities
  • Able to demonstrate a structured and methodical way of working
  • Able to effectively prioritise tasks
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Able to develop consistently excellent, client ready work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to cope with competing demands
  • Strong interpersonal skills, particularly influencing and listening skills
