Purpose of Job

To drive campaigns focused on sales and customer engagement communication for the agency’s loyalty programme clients. The successful candidate needs a thorough understanding of digital and mobile marketing focused on response driven/call to action tactical campaigns.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
 

Job Requirements:

  • Member acquisition/Sales campaigns:
    • Conceptualise sales-driven campaigns and brief creative team on campaign development
    • Implement sales campaigns aimed at securing memberships
    • Generate leads for sales conversion in the lifestyle club space
    • Conceptualise and manage member reactivation initiatives (selling to ex-clients)
    • Conceptualise and manage warm-up sales initiatives
    • Use of social media channels to drive sales
    • Use of direct marketing channels to drive sales
    • Implement and manage the sale of new products and services
  • Member retention/ Response-driven campaigns:
    • Drive member engagement and interaction for membership programmes
    • Coordinate and manage direct marketing campaigns
    • Organise and monitor tactical marketing initiatives
    • Use of social media to engage with customer database daily
    • Use of direct marketing channels to engage with customers
  • Ensure that brand guidelines are adhered to in all brand extensions
  • All campaigns are executed with speed and quality
  • Our clients expect multiple, high volume campaigns – highly targeted and quickly executed

Skill Profile:

 

Mandatory

  • Direct marketing boffin
  • Experience in sales-driven campaigns essential
  • Understanding of conceptualisation, management, implementation and monitoring of direct marketing campaigns against customer statistics
  • Understanding and experience of loyalty and annuity programme management
  • Comprehensive experience in direct marketing
  • Matric plus tertiary qualification
  • In depth knowledge of social media platforms
  • Experience in holistic digital marketing (mobile understanding is imperative)
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel skills a non-negotiable)
  • Strong ability to work with numbers and analyse campaign success / failure
  • Verbal and writing skills
  • Strong evaluation and analytical skills
  • A strong ability to work efficiently without on going guidance
  • Ability to brief creative teams on campaign conceptualisation and response-driven marketing campaigns

Additional/advantageous

  • LinkedIn Sales Navigator experience
  • CRM experience
  • Comfort with sales targets
  • Previous experience in membership marketing / sales

Salary: R20 - 25 000
