We have a sensational opportunity for an experienced mid-weight CRM Brand Manager at a large ISP’s Cape Town office. We’re looking for someone numerate and analytical to support the CRM strategy, fully implement digital CRM campaigns that drive upsell campaigns via online, email, SMS and dial campaigns. In this exciting role you will be fully responsible for everything from campaign planning in line with objectives, segment selection to optimise conversion, and working with data analyst to extra correct data, briefing to outbound teams, working with agencies and internal resource to develop and implement creatives and post campaign reporting.   • Brief, implement, manage, track and report on all CRM campaigns across channels, including outbound sales + online
  • Implement activity via email + calls + SMS communication channels
  • Implement all operational campaigns as required by the business
  • Work closely with the data analyst to extra data required for all campaigns.
  • Brief and manage data team outputs on a weekly basis
  • Work closely with sales channels to implement campaigns – including briefing, scripts, direction and engagement
  • Weekly and monthly post campaign reporting
  • Cross functional engagement with the MIS (data team), sales teams, product, retention team and the rest of marketing team
  • Brief and manage creative agency outputs
  • Customer journey communication. Work closely with product managers and fulfilment teams to implement communication (email + SMS + online copy) that supports customer journeys within sales processes


The successful candidate must have/be:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience running CRM campaigns within a Marketing team
  • Marketing related qualification BComm/ or IMM
  • A corporate Marketing team, rather than agency – Preferable, however will consider depending on experience and role
  • Run CRM campaigns via emails + SMS + outbound dial campaigns + digital
  • Worked within an outbound call centre structure
  • Able to show previous experience of working with agency partners to implement campaigns
  • Able to show previous experience of working with an analytics team for data and insights
  • Implementation focused and demonstrate delivery of campaigns
  • Able to write copy and manage designers to deliver to brief
  • Highly analytical and data driven
  • Quick learner and can work under pressure
  • Able to turn data into insights
  • Organised and high attention to detail with a focus on accuracy of information
  • Demonstrate campaign development skills including briefing and reverts
  • Performance driven with a high action orientation
  • Very comfortable with using Excel and PowerPoint
