We have an exciting opportunity for a mid-weight Digital Content Manager at a leading retailer’s Cape Town offices. The role will see the successful candidate working across the Digital Brand ecosystem of the Group’s companies. You’ll be responsible for the detailed day-to-day scheduling, overseeing and monitoring of Digital project workflow, working closely with the Digital Brand Manager to deliver on Business and Digital Objectives. This position forms a key role in the Digital Brand team and as such you will streamline communication between campaign managers, agencies and internal stakeholders. In this role you will be the single point of accountability for campaign execution and coordination as per the brand activity calendars. Fantastic opportunity to work at a super company.

Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/3-year Diploma/Equivalent experience in Marketing, Digital Design, Media, Business Analysis, Business Administration, Web Design and Development, Multi-Media and Media Marketing.
  • Digital experience agency / client
  • Social Media experience
  • Google Analytics experience
  • Managing Digital Marketing programmes and campaigns experience
  • Online/ Internet Marketing experience
  • Mobile Marketing experience
  • Ability to interpret Web Analytics, Digital Media reporting
  • Retail experience – a plus
  • MS Office
  • Understanding of Information Systems
  • Deep understanding of Digital Marketing
  • Experience with current Online Marketing concepts & best practice
  • Knowledge of Project Management
