An integrated marketing agency seeks an energetic, knowledgeable Head of Content and Community.

This person will be have a strong digital copy background and a solid understanding of social media from both a theoretical and practical standpoint.

Key responsibilities:

  • Understand our clients’ businesses and audiences
  • Develop engaging content across digital platforms 
  • Interpret and analyse user behavior to develop monthly brand strategies
  • Lead creative strategies in collaboration with designers
  • Produce creative ideas to build original and disruptive campaigns
  • Write social media posts, blog articles, press releases, website content, strategy, pitches and presentations
  • Ensure online community engagement across all brands at all times
  • Maintain clients’ social media calendars and accounts
  • Manage and mentor junior copywriters
  • Liaise with client regularly
  • Drive training sessions with teams

Minimum requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in digital copywriting
  • Focused experience in social media strategy and content creation (non-negotiable)
  • Proven understanding of the platforms and metrics
  • Ability to produce content that is consistently unexpected and innovative
  • Versatile writing skills
  • Willingness to adapt ideas to client needs
  • Excellent leadership qualities
  • Strict time management without comprising on quality
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Solid organisational skills
  • Love of learning and sharing knowledge
  • Initiative and adesire to drive change
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team

Salary: R25 - 30 000
