This broadcasting platform operates globally and encompasses a number of channels focused on the sports and gaming sector. Fast-paced, fun and edgy, the ideal candidate for this position has the experience and passion to drive the organisation into the lead by leveraging technology to disrupt the market. We’re looking for someone who has a passion for sports, is hands-on, committed and makes things happen. You’ll need to possess relevant business to business and business to consumer marketing experience in service-driven sectors for this role. As Marketing Executive you will need to work within the parameters of the business strategy to develop an over-arching Marketing and Communications strategy which will also require the refinement of the portfolio of product, service and event brands. The scope of the position will require a wide range of traditional Marketing and Sales skills to facilitate the development of partnerships around the country’s major events as well as selling commercial air time on the organisation’s broad base of traditional channels and the industry’s range of Publications and technology enabled platforms. A further vital part of the portfolio will require skills in the Digital Marketing space focusing on the establishment of South Africa’s leading sports information platform and communities. This role reports directly to the CEO.

The successful candidate must have/be:

  • Relevant Degree/Diploma
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant business to business and business to Consumer Marketing experience in service-driven sectors
  • Skills in the Digital Marketing space
  • A desire to leverage technology to disrupt the market
  • A wide range of traditional Marketing and Sales skills to facilitate the development of partnerships
  • Committed ‘hands-on’ person who loves to make things happen
  • Genuine passion for sport
  • Interest in horse racing
