A leading financial institution has a vacancy for a Senior Marketing Manager to work from their Cape Town office.
To develop and implement an integrated marketing strategy that will enable profitable growth for the business. Responsible for the planning and implementation of the marketing strategy. The role requires regular travel.
Translate marketing strategies into detailed activity plans
Develop and implement the integrated marketing plan across the portfolio using a combination of traditional and digital media channels
Monitor and track marketing performance and activate strategies to address performance gaps and respond to competitor strategies
Influence key business stakeholders in the interpretation, implementation and execution of the marketing vision and direction for the division.
Understand and interpret the market and business context, while integrating consumer insights in the development of the intermediated marketing and communication plan.
Develop, manage and maintain annual marketing budget
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Relevant 3 year business/marketing degree or equivalent
At least 8-10 years years related marketing experience, preferably in the financial services industry, with a proven track-record of strategic marketing capability and delivery.
Thorough knowledge of the advertising and media industry, across all marketing disciplines and digital platforms
Thorough understanding of an advertising agency processes and work methods
Solid marketing expertise, including B2B marketing and communication
Proven track-record of developing and executing digital content, retention and attraction strategies
