A terrific opportunity has become available for a Senior Marketing Manager at a premier company in the financial tech hardware arena. Along with the company’s significant growth comes an opening for a dynamic and accomplished Senior Marketing Manager to join their Management Committee in a lively and fast-paced work environment. This role is critical in ensuring optimal functioning and best-practices within the company’s Marketing function. The successful candidate will report to the Sales and Marketing Director, based at the company’s trendy head office in Cape Town. The broad responsibilities of the role include ensuring that the Marketing strategies, systems and Marketing controls support the broader growth goals of the business.   • Responsible for the overall strategic Marketing direction and function at the company
  • Lead and manage the Marketing team to achieve revenue driving campaigns
  • Responsible for preparing thought leadership and Marketing opinion pieces on publications key to our industry
  • Be the primary liaison for key bank relationship in matters related to bank corporate identity, branding changes, and the look and feel of branded hardware
  • Work closely with the company’s Management & Executive Committee to develop Marketing strategies and execution plans
  • Effectively project manage and report on different Marketing campaigns and deliverables within the Marketing team, with the specific focus on driving revenue
  • Implement, execute and drive the company’s Marketing strategy to position the company’s brand to the market in a way that will deliver revenue growth
  • Plan and execute events and attendance at conferences and exhibitions
  • Manage all communications and marketing to the company’s host site clients
  • Manage the PR programmes including press releases and PR agency
  • Manage and review all branding, designs and re-branding


The successful candidate must have/be:

  • Relevant Marketing/Business Degree/equivalent tertiary qualification – essential
  • 5+ years Brand and Marketing management experience
  • Proven track record of successfully implemented Marketing projects
  • Fully computer literate across Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of relevant Design programmes – advantageous
  • Strong verbal, written communications and presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the management team and stakeholders
  • A passion for excellence in all aspects of your career
  • Able to think-out-the-box, generate new ideas and implement them effectively
  • Possess people skills and a personal style that will establish credibility with internal and external customers alike
  • Responsible, self-disciplined, reliable, systematic, and have a high degree of personal integrity
  • Follow procedures and have a structured approach to problem-solving
  • Organised, motivated and able to manage own time effectively and respond positively to different situations
