Our client is in the retail space and looking for a media sales executive who is highly organised, Candidate must be results-driven sales executive that will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.
Experience / Education:
3-5 Years in media advertising sales.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve targets
- Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their need
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
- Continuously improve through feedback
Competencies required:
- Proven work experience as a sales executive
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
- Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
- A self-starter with the ability to source new customers and develop new markets
- Good numerical and analytical ability
- An ability to hold in-depth discussions on business topics
- Excellent communication skills; both face to face and telephonic
- High levels of self-motivation and responsibility
- Proactive, structured, deadline focused and is passionate about learning and development
- Own motor vehicle and a valid South African driver’s license
