Senior Account Executive

Skills:

• Develop a positive working relationship with clients
• Articulate thoughts, rationalizations and recommendations
• Show awareness of company’s objectives and demonstrate MSL philosophy
• Demonstrate excellent project planning skills
• Utilize social listening tools to generate insights and suggest new ideas and tactics
• Respond to comments, when appropriate, in order to foster a positive community and add value to the user’s experience
• Manage events including preparation timelines, finding a venue and managing suppliers
• Attending events to Tweet love to drive engagement and encourage participation. Provide media relations support for clients during events
Client services
• Show an ability to manage a budget, in liaison with Account Director, for specific projects as directed
• Ensure day-to-day client liaison and that project / work deadlines are met. Begin to be seen as a trusted point of contact for client
• Demonstrate a clear understanding of clients’ business and competitors
• Develop confidence to contribute own ideas to planning or brainstorm meetings

Administrative / agency operations:

• With Account Director, ensure activity plans and status reports completed and delivered to client
• Be effective in meeting deadlines; successfully juggling multiple work priorities and managing own time
• Develop an awareness of internal resources and services and uses to best advantage for client or internal admin work

Account Management and strategic thinking and planning
• Begin to build account management skills; take responsibility for specific projects
• Build account administration skills including budgeting and cost management
