We have a fantastic, full-time, fully remote opportunity for an Account Manager at a UK based agency who work with clients within the recruitment sector. As Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing long-term relationships with a portfolio of assigned clients from the recruitment sector. You’ll be consistently delivering projects that hit the brief on deadline and within budget.

We’re ideally looking for someone with experience in a creative agency, who is passionate about branding, design, and social media marketing. You’ll be a proactive and well-organised individual who is full of ideas, innovative and takes a genuine interest in identifying the right solution for each of your clients’ specific problems.

  • Ensure high-quality work while navigating scope-creep
  • Build and maintain successful client relationships
  • Optimise processes, client management and reporting by effectively using Teamwork
  • Facilitate and develop AEs namely: Oversee project plans on Teamwork, ensuring briefs are created and closed off on time; and monitor brief creation and management
  • Present reports on client hours used vs hours budget
  • Quality-check work from different departments for accuracy
  • Flag any potential issues with ADs early on and be proactive with suggestions for resolution
  • Report to clients weekly on progress and results
  • Report key metrics to AD, offering solutions and next steps
  • Proactively scope up-sell projects with clients
  • Lead morning stand-up and ensure teams are prepared for the day ahead
  • Nurture AE and other core delivery team members
  • Support AD in creating and implementing new efficient and effective processes
  • Manage a dedicated portfolio of clients and maintain monthly recurring revenue, whilst achieving an upsell target of 5% per month
  • Constantly improve customer satisfaction scores through the delivery of great projects
  • Control time spent on a client to ensure projects are delivered on budget
  • Delight clients with impressive, effective, and consistently great work
  • Mentor, develop and manage junior team members
  • Drive projects according to clients’ goals.

The successful candidate must have/be:

  • Relevant Degree/Diploma
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an agency environment
  • Previous experience: Marketing / Advertising / Branding – ideal
  • From a creative background (good eye for design, social etc.), who has worked on brand awareness campaigns
  • Managed website projects – is a plus
  • Client facing
  • Willing/able to manage a small team (1-3 people)
  • Strong written and verbal comms (English first language)
  • Confident (ability to own/run client meetings)
  • Able to work in a fast paced, agile (often demanding) environment
  • Experience working on the Creative side of Marketing (Creative/Branding agencies)
