We have a very exciting and stimulating job opportunity for an experienced, mid–weight Digital Marketing Analyst at a leading financial services company in Cape Town. We’re looking for an analytics expert with strong execution, project management & reporting skills to support the company’s Marketing team.
You will analyse and specify requirements to solve complex Digital Marketing challenges, set KPIs & regularly report on Digital performance on campaigns. Your ability to align project delivery to business priorities and expectations will be essential. To succeed in this role, you should have exceptional analytical, project management & execution skills and thrive in a high-performance culture.

Responsibilities

Analysis

  • Identifying business requirements & articulating them into agency/vendor briefs (software for development & digital campaigns)
  • Implementation of reliable tracking & benchmarking across digital platforms
  • Translation of business requirements into digital KPIs
  • Identifying & testing of web & software defects
  • Monitoring & communicating trends, anomalies & insights based on analytics & other research
  • Implementation of industry & global digital best practice for design, user experience & technology.

Execution & Project Management

  • Ensure day-to-day execution of business deliverables are met on time
  • Ensuring high quality & timeous delivery/execution of software and campaign related projects
  • Managing agency/vendor efforts & stakeholder expectations
  • Driving cost efficiencies in line with marketing budgets
  • Managing competing resources & priorities
  • Building positive working relationships with internal & external stakeholders.

Digital Reporting

  • Providing & presenting regular campaign & digital reports
  • Effectively communicating insights-driven recommendations.

Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:

  • A university degree in business or related field
  • Certification in a digital marketing field (advantageous)
  • Minimum of 5-years’ experience in all areas of digital marketing and technology (Web, Email, Social, CRM, Design, etc.)
  • Extensive knowledge of digital analytics & optimisation including, but not limited to campaign performance, multi-variate testing, event-based analytics, marketing funnel & attribution measurement
  • Proven track record managing deadline-driven digital projects, campaigns & agency/vendor partners
  • Good working knowledge of web & software including software development process, UX design principles, business analysis & testing
  • Experience working cross-functionally to support communications & brand activities as well as other internal business stakeholders
  • Expert level proficiency in Google analytics & other industry standard analytics platforms (Web, Email, Social, CRM)
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite
