An exciting, fully remote job opportunity has become available for a mid-weight Lead generation & Content Marketing Specialist Copywriter at an innovative email lead gen agency. The agency boasts a global complement of clients predominantly based in the UK, Europe, and Middle East, as well as some in Australia and the US. They also service some SA clients and are keen to grow this market. These clients fall mainly within the Tech industry.

We’re looking for a talented Copywriter who comes from a Digital Content writing background (and if you have B2B experience that’s a big plus). The Content you’ll be responsible for is predominantly solutions-oriented sales emailers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop all content needed for the client to inform and engage their target audience
  • Proactively research and understand the nature of the clients you are writing for to ensure that their brand and voice is reflected in all content
  • Review and edit all content that you have written for clients to ensure that it is of a high quality and meets the standards expected by the client
  • Understand the brands and conceptualise strategies to communicate their message to their target market in an impactful and catchy way
  • Keep abreast of new copy concepts and trends within the field and present this strategic thinking to the Head of Content & Projects.

Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism, Communication or Related Disciplines
  • 2-5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience in Marketing
  • Experience in B2B & B2C sales
  • Experience in writing & reviewing copy
  • Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of online content strategy and creation
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Strong research skills
  • Proven ability to demonstrate brand voice
